Proposed Instruction or Proposed Change Decision Notifications

A Proposed Instruction or Proposed Change Decision Notification (PMPI) is a communication issued by the Project Manager to instruct the Contractor to submit quotations for a proposed instruction or proposed changed decision. This communication is used when the Project Manager needs to assess the value of a proposed change prior to giving instruction to implement the change. As a result, the Contractor submits a proposed quotation.

An internal review may be requested for a PMPI.

Additional objects such as communications, documents, and files may be associated with a PMP.

A PMPI follows a three stage workflow: Initiate > Review > Issue.
